User Engagement Strategist
The role combines behavioural insights, customer journey analysis, experimentation, and engagement strategy to understand what drives meaningful user interaction.
Working closely with Product, Marketing, Analytics, Lifecycle, and Operations teams, the User Engagement Strategist translates behavioural patterns into initiatives that improve activation, engagement, retention, and long-term user value.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing user engagement strategies across different stages of the customer lifecycle.
- Analysing behavioural data to understand what drives engagement, disengagement, and repeated product usage.
- Identifying key behavioural signals, patterns, and friction points across user journeys.
- Developing initiatives to improve activation, feature adoption, engagement, retention, and reactivation.
- Creating behavioural user segments based on interaction patterns, lifecycle stage, and user intent.
- Collaborating with Product and Lifecycle teams to design more relevant and personalised user experiences.
- Developing hypotheses and experiments to test new engagement strategies.
- Monitoring engagement metrics and behavioural indicators to evaluate the impact of initiatives.
- Identifying opportunities to improve how users discover and experience product value.
- Translating behavioural insights into clear recommendations for Product, Marketing, and Operations teams.
- Continuously evaluating how user behaviour changes as products, features, and customer expectations evolve.
Requirements
- Experience in user engagement, growth, lifecycle marketing, product strategy, customer experience, or a related role.
- Strong understanding of user behaviour, customer journeys, engagement, and retention.
- Experience working with behavioural, product, or customer analytics.
- Ability to identify patterns in user behaviour and translate them into actionable strategies.
- Understanding of user segmentation, personalisation, and lifecycle management
- Experience with experimentation, hypothesis development, and A/B testing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with Product, Marketing, Analytics, Lifecycle, and Operations teams.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to present insights and recommendations clearly.
- Structured, curious, and user-focused approach to problem-solving.
- Strong English proficiency for internal communication.
